Simple top hat made for my TARDIS costume for Halloween.

You will need

Cardboard Paper Tape Hot Glue Gun 2 Small Paper Circles Or Card You Can Personalize Small Hair Comb TARDIS Dark Blue Acrylic Paint Tin Can I used tangarine White Acrylic Paint

Simple top hat made for my TARDIS costume for Halloween.

Instructions

1. 

   Paint the can white.Then paint the top blue.

2. Measure the can and cut the paper tape stripes both vertical and horizontal. Paint the stripes blue.

3. Cut a circle from the cardboard. It should be a little bigger than the can you are using. This will be the base of the hat. Paint it blue. Hotglue it to the open end of the tin can.

4. Now the tricky part. Cut the small paper circle just to fit on the top of the can.Cut it but not al the way through only the half so you can create a cone. Paint it blue and glue it on the top.

5. 

   Take the comb and glue it on the bottom like this and you are done.
