These are buttery & crumbly. It's best to use real butter in the recipe & not margarine. You can add the zest of 1 lemon to the dough to give it a lemon flavour.
These are buttery & crumbly. It's best to use real butter in the recipe & not margarine. You can add the zest of 1 lemon to the dough to give it a lemon flavour.
Heat oven 160 degrees. Cream butter & sugar together.
Add egg. Mix well.
Add flour, corn flour & bicarb. Mix into a dough.
Knead the dough a little till smooth. Roll out to 1cm thickness. Cut out biscuits with a flutted cutter. Bake for 15 mins.
Sprinkle with a little sugar while still warm. Allow to cool completely.
Serve.
