I have roughly ten million shirts (mostly from bands whose shows I went to as a teen) sitting around my house collecting dust and never being worn. I would hate to throw them all out, so I decided to find new and interesting ways to upcycle them!

Take a really old shirt that you no longer wear, and will therefore not miss.
Cut off the collar and sleeves, then turn it inside out.
Pin the shirt together where you want your seam to be, and sew along the pins.
Create yourself a new seam, and cut off the excess at the bottom of the shirt.
And voila! You have done away with something gathering dust in your closet, given it new life and turned it into something useful! Bask in the glory of your upcycling prowess!
