I acquired lots of tshirts at everything from elementary school track meets to political campaigns. Since I hardly ever wear tshirts, I decided to make a useful blanket out of them!

You Will Need (4 things)
- 12 Tshirt with logos or designs
- 1 Fleece blanket
- Needle
- Thread in coordinating colors as tshirt fabrics
Steps (5 steps, 120 minutes)

1
First, get all your tshirts together. Decide how big you want your squares to be. Mine were 12" x 12" because it made for simple measuring. Mark the shirts then cut them (leaving plenty of room for hemming them together.)

2
Lay the squares out on the blanket in the order you want them to go. Play with the colors. I decided to go for a sort of checkerboard look since most of my tshirts were black or white. Check out my mad track skills! =P

3
Sew all the tshirts together. (Take two squares. Place their front sides together then sew along whichever edge they should have in common in the finished blanket. Do this until all the tshirts are connected.) Sorry no picture. =(

Lay the squares on top of the fleece blanket (the backing of your *new* blanket!) and decide how big of a frame you want the blanket to have. Fold and pin the fleece over the edges of the big tshirt piece until it looks right. Then sew it down!

Now give your finished blanket a good wash to get rid of any leftover chalk markings on the tshirts!
