This is easy to make.

You can use any jam filling you like.

You Will Need (8 things)

  • 3 1/2 oz Self-Raising Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 3 1/2 oz Sugar
  • 3 1/2 oz Butter
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Filling

  • 7 oz Jam

Steps (7 steps, 30 minutes)

    Heat oven 180 degrees.

    Place all cake ingredients into a bowl.

    Mix with an electric mixer for 4 mins until pale & well mixed.

    Pour into a tin.

    Level out.

    Bake for 15 - 20 mins until springy to the touch.

    Place the cake onto grease proof paper covered in sugar.

    peel of the lining.

    Spread the roll with jam whilst it's still warm.

    Roll up in the paper & leave to cool.

  7. 7

    Cut & serve.
