The original directions are by far the best. I skipped the embroidery cuz I'm just not that good. ;) Just a few notes: 1) Use a sturdy sweater. This one was very fatigued but I loved the pattern. 2) I was really glad I used fabric adhesive...heavy duty. 3) I choose a much stronger sole on my shoe. This was as bit of a problem when turning the sleeve right side out after attaching. Unless you need a sturdy shoe support, stick with the ballet slippers. Thanks for a great idea Niamh O.
