This is the version I came up for "Monkey Bread" that my husband adores. And yes, I usually bake in a disposable square tin foil pan, not made in a bundt pan, which is more traditional. (Sometimes I just don't feel "traditional") Enjoy!

MONKEY BREAD ALA SUZANNE
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cooks for about 30 minutes
(cooking time may vary with your oven-this is what works for mine)Equipment:
8x8 pan
empty plastic zipper bag (or ol' grocery one)
small sauce panIngrediants:
3/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3/4 cup butter/margarine (1 and 1/2 sticks)
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
and
two tubes of refrigerator biscuits (not the flaky kind- cheapo ones are fine)
(I didn't look but reg full size tubes- like 10 biscuits each)Instructions:
~In plastic zipper bag combine all the white sugar and cinnamon and mix well~open open both tubes of biscuits and cut each one into 4 pieces
~Toss all the biscuit pieces into the sugar/cinnamon mixture to coat well. They start to stick together, but once they are coated, they separate nicely. (Set aside)
~In a small sauce pan, melt all the butter over med heat, then slowly add all the brown sugar and stir well. Continue to stir and cool until well blended. It will take a few minutes to properly mix, but in the end, you'll have something that looks like a thin caramel sauce.
~Put the biscuit pieces (all nice and sugary!) into the 8"x 8" pan (no need to grease with allll that butter in the sauce)
~Poor the butter/brown sugar goodness over it. It will look like alot, but it soaks into the bread as it cooks.
~Make for about 30 minutes.
Remove from oven but, CAUTION!!--let it cool for about 15 minutes before because it will be SUPER STICKY and SUPER HOT!
