In contrast to the bright superhero look, I wanted to create a darker look which was equally as dramatic. Disco Diva by Lit Cosmetics was the perfect shade for a smouldering dark supervillain eye.

You Will Need (9 things)

  • Eyes

  • Purple Eye Glitter - Disco Diva by Lit Cosmetics
  • Clearly Liquid Glitter Base by Lit Cosmetics
  • Purple Eyeshadow - Poison Plum by Sugarpill
  • Black Eyeshadow - Rimmel London
  • Black Eyeliner Pencil - Black by Rimmel London
  • Black Mascara - Volume Glamour Ultra Black by Bourjois Paris

  • Lips

  • Dark red Lipstick - Bordeaux by Rimmel London

Steps (6 steps, 20 minutes)

  1. 1

    Apply the purple eyeshadow to your eyelids blending up towards your eyebrows with a swooping flick at the edges.

    Draw a dark line under your eyes with black eyeliner pencil, coming down to a point at your inner eye and up to a sharp flick at your outer eye. Bring the line down along your crease line to meet the point at your inner eye.

    Use black eyeshadow to blend the eyeliner into the purple eyeshadow above the crease.

  4. 4

    Apply purple glitter to your eyelids using the glitter base.

  5. 5

    Apply lots of black mascara and define your eyebrows with your favourite eyebrow pencil, going slightly darker than you normally would.

    Draw around your lips with the black eyeliner pencil and then apply dark red lipstick. Blending the lipstick into the black lip pencil.
