You Will Need (4 things)

  • 1 Ramen Noodles Beef Flavor
  • 1 cup thinly sliced Onion(s)
  • 1 piece Bread
  • 1 Mozzarella

Steps (5 steps, 15 minutes)

  1. 1

Boil 2 cups of water and add the flavor packet from a package of Beef Ramen Noodles. Save the dry noodles, crumble them up for crunchy salad toppings or something creative.

  2. 2

Add the onions, and simmer on low heat for about 10 to 15 minutes. The longer you cook them, the softer the onions, but the more oniony the broth.

  3. 3

While your onions are cooking, toast the bread. You can use any kind of bread, I think an artisan bread like an asiago cheese loaf would be delish.

  4. 4

Pour the finished broth in an oven safe bowl, put the bread on top, cover with cheese, throw in the broiler until cheese is golden and bubbly.

  5. 5

15 minutes and low budget onion soup perfection!
