These brooches look great with a lovely focal bead and complimenting accent beads. They also make great gifts.

Take the brooch back and the length of wire and secure the wire to the hole in the centre of the brooch back. Thread the wire to come up through one of the end holes.
Thread on the 12mm faceted glass bead and thread the wire though the opposite end hole , wrap it around the base a few times to secure.
Hold the 24mm ring on top of the brooch back and secure it at one side by wrapping the wire round a few times.
Bring the wire up about 3cm from the ring and thread on a bead, take the wire back down to the ring and holding it in place with your thumb, twist the bead so the wire holds it at the top securely. Thread the wire through the ring to come back beside the first strand to repeat.
Work half way round the ring repeating step 4 with a mixture of beads.
When you get half way round, attach the other end of the brooch pin to the ring as in step 3.
Continue to work the brooch right round to the start. You can add a few to the brooch middle, beside the big bead, too if you like.
Wrap the wire round the base a couple of times to secure, and cut off the excess.
Take a thin knitting needle or the middle of a biro pen and wind each strand around until it is a curly twisty shape. Pull out the needle. Repeat with all the strands.
Wear and enjoy !
