This strong and spicy drink takes a little time and a few ingredients, but it's well worth it on a hot Summer morning.

You Will Need (14 things)
- 1 tsp Coffee grinds
- a few pieces Star Anise
- 1 tsp Cinnamon or a few bits of a cinnamon stick
- 2 Cloves
- 1 tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 tsp Fennel Seed
- 1 tsp Ground Cardamom
- 1 tsp Black Tea
- ½ cup Hot Water
- 1 cup Soy Milk
- Instant Coffee , extra
- Ice
Steps (5 steps, 60 minutes)
-
1
Combine the tea, coffee and spices in a tea filter or wrap them all up in some coffee filter paper and secure with a steel staple.
-
2
Steep the tea/coffee/spice mixture in the hot water for about 15 minutes, you want a nice strong brew.
-
3
Remove the infuser/filter bag. If you'd like a stronger coffee flavoured drink, add some instant coffee at this point.
-
4
Let the brew cool then place in the fridge to chill completely (I like to make this up then refrigerate overnight, ready for the next morning).
-
5
Combine the chilled brew with cold soy milk and ice if desired. Drink up and enjoy!
