I had been asked to be a product tester for Sugru. I didn't even know what Sugru was and what it was capable of doing untill it arrived. Sugru is a mouldable glue that hardens when left to air dry for more than 12hrs. Its almost like Polymer Clay but without having to bake it. I havent tried fixing things with it yet but there are a few things that need fixing that super glue hasn't worked. I had been coming up with ideas all week and decided to decorate my phone case, everytime i go to look at a phone case, most of them i don't like. I wanted to decorate a broken old phone case to what i would like. So here is the tutorial to do it your self.

Gather all your materials you need.
Trace round your phone case with a pencil on some paper and draw out your design within it. I had drawn out my design 6 times and the finished project is nothing like my original designs.
I mixed the blue and red sugru to create a dark purple (need to mix it well) on a cutting mat and stuck it on the phone case. I then moulded it to the point when it covered the entire surface.
With the pink sugru, i rolled it into a ball and broke off pieces to make big and small circles on the purple background. I then stuck small pink buttons on the circles that are similar size. I cut off excess pink sugru from around the buttons using a craft knife (scalpel).
Using my sewing themed charms, i stuck them on the large circles. and scapeled in the word sew on one of them. I tried using lettered stamps for that bit but it didn't work. I then used a round edged jewelley plyer to poke holes into the background.
All this sugru moulding must be done within 30mins as it starts to slightly harden. Leave for 12hrs and Voila. . . . DIY phone case using sugru
