I didn't want to throw away the styrofoam leftover containers we had, so I washed them in the sink and cut off the flat parts of the top and bottom pieces. I tried to use as much of the sides as possible and threw away the scraps. I carved the designs I wanted with the blunt end of a paint brush and then cut the shape from the lid or bottom piece. I wanted them to be environment-inspired, so I hunted in my yard for some stamp handles and glued them on with crazy glue.
