I want to get more into cooking, as I didn't have a good female role model to teach me when I was younger. Now that I am living with my boyfriend who only knows how to use a grill, I need to learn how to make somewhat healthy things. I figure I can use this as a way to also post tutorials as well, since I take a mixture of basic recipes and never use the actual steps in them, haha!

Description

I want to get more into cooking, as I didn't have a good female role model to teach me when I was younger. Now that I am living with my boyfriend who only knows how to use a grill, I need to learn how to make somewhat healthy things. I figure I can use this as a way to also post tutorials as well, since I take a mixture of basic recipes and never use the actual steps in them, haha!

Instructions

  1. I didn't measure any of my ingredients, so you will have to just do a trial and error sort of thing. I used half a package of cream cheese, 1 stalk of asparagus (I suggest adding more if you want to actually taste it) maybe a 1/4th cup of cooked sausage, and 8 olives. I also used the stalks of the mushrooms for the filling, as well.

  2. Start cooking the sausage. While it's cooking, chop everything else except the cream cheese into small itty bitty bits.

  3. When you are done chopping everything but the sausage and cream cheese, you will want to cook that in the sausage grease. Take all the sausage out (I just used a fork for this) and put it somewhere. I think I just put it on the cutting board.

  4. Put the chopped bits into the skillet you used to cook the sausage and mix that around. Chop the sausage into tiny bits.

  5. When everything is cooked through, you'll want to mix it with the sausage, and then you'll want to mix that with the cream cheese. It'd be best to soften the cream cheese. I don't know how to do that other than spreading it thin in a bowl then microwaving that for like 5 seconds.

  6. Mix everything together in a big gloppy mess. Preheat oven to 325F degrees.

  7. Take the mushrooms and rub olive oil on the top. Then place upside down onto a cookie tray. Stuff with cream cheese mixture.

  8. Bake for 15 minutes. Eat. They will be juicy, so, eat them over a sink! If you got a bunch of tiny mushrooms, you can just pop them into your mouth.
