   Start collecting all kinds of ribbons. Of course you can go buy them in your local craftstore, but it's also fun to collect ribbons from christmas/birthday/...-gifts or from that box of chocolates you got from a friend,...

   When you've got enough ribbons, all you need is a pair of old/boring/... shoes, a pair of scissors, shoe laces and a glue gun.

   Cut the ribbons and glue them on your shoe. Make sure that you glue them close enough to each other. You can first sew some sequins or pearls on some of your ribbons if you want.
   Fold your ribbons inward the shoe and glue them, if you just cut them they will probably start to ravel.

   When both shoes are covered with ribbons, you can start to glue a shoe lace among the shoe to make sure that the ends of your ribbons won't start to ravel.

   Voila! Your shoes are ready!
