Hey guys! It’s me today and I have an easy, anthropolgie-esque type project. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen one in an Anthroplogie store, but as I was making it, I could envision it in with all their quirky displays. No kidding… this took me like 30 minutes. The most time consuming was going to the thrift store and picking out the lampshade. Let’s start there…

When perusing for a lamp to buy for this project, pay attention to the shape. I fell in love with the scalloped edges of this one! Make sure it has vertical wires too, because the more to put scraps on, the better.
Once the shade is stripped of its covering, head over to your scraps
We’re looking for thin strips…selvedges come in handy here. If you don’t have enough thin strips, just cut them down to about a 1/4”.
Just start anywhere you please and hot glue the first strip in place and start winding, making sure to overlap
When you get to the edge, hot glue down and start a new strip right next to it, again, overlapping. Easy as pie!
Until your done!
