These are so good. Can be made up as a snack or can be eaten for lunch, dinner or even breakfast (if you use breakfast toppings). The ingredients bar doesn't seem to want to save everything that I put on there, so here is what you need. 1 flour tortilla, 1-2 tbs shredded cheese, pizza or bbq sauce, toppings, 1 tsp olive oil.
First gather all of your supplies. For mine, I used turkey pepperoni, black olives, mozzarella cheese, and sweet honey bbq sauce. Don't forget to grab a frying pan and spatula, because with out those two items, you'll have a gooey gross mess on your stove range. lol. I also used small tortillas for sorta of a personal pizza, but you can use bigger ones, just make sure your frying pan is big enough so that it lays flat in the bottom.
Add your oil to the frying pan and set burner to medium heat. Ingredients say to use 1 tsp, I just eyeballed it here.
Before placing your tortilla in the pan, put your sauce on and spread with a spoon. This is a little harder to do once it's in the pan. I used sweet honey bbq sauce, but you can use pizza sauce, OR you can use salsa if you are making a breakfast pizza.
Place tortilla in the pan and as a small amount of cheese. This will start to melt right away. Skip step 5 if you are making a cheese only pizza.
Next add your toppings. I used turkey pepperoni and black olives. But you can use any toppings you want. You can try sausage, bacon, ham and egg if making a breakfast pizza.
Next add more cheese. You can add as much or as little as you want.
Now, cover your pan for about 1-2 minutes to let the cheese melt.
Don't let your supervisor see you sneaking ingredients while your pizza is cooking, or they'll wonder where theirs is at. In my case, it was my brothers 4 month old puppy, Koda.
Check for melty cheesey goodness and that the edge of the tortilla has started to brown. Remove from heat, let cool for a minute and then enjoy.
