My fiance' loves Stitch and he needed some new fancy Disney accessories. Thus, this hat idea was born. We used a military-style cap, but you could easily adapt it for a baseball cap or attach the ears to a headband (see my DIY Mickey/Minnie Ears tutorial).

Step 1
Cut two pieces of foam that are just short of the length of the foam sheet and are similar to the shape of a bunny ear. (For demonstration pictures, black will be foam and blue will be felt.)
Step 2
Glue one ear to one side of a piece of bluefelt. make sure it is almost touching the edge of the felt sheet, but that you can fold the felt sheet in half and it will cover the foam.
Step 3
Fold the felt over the foam ear shape and glue in place. Then, cut off the excess felt so that it is the same shape as the foam. Complete step 2 for the other ear using the second piece of blue felt.
Step 4
Trace the ears onto the piece of pink felt, and glue these pieces onto one side of the blue ear shapes. This will be the front of the ears.
Step 5
Trace the top few inches of each ear onto the black piece of felt. Cut out these triangular piecea and glue them onto the back (blue) side of the ears. These are the tops of the ears.
Step 6
Cut a notch out of the top of one ear and the bottom of the other. Stitch (ha!) the bottom front pieces of each ear together to create the pinched look.
Step 7
I chose to stitch (ha! again) my ears onto the sides of a military cap- I used a blanket stitch and went over it twice for strength.
Step 8
I then painted Stitch's eyes and nose on the front of the hat and his back stripes on the back of the hat with fabric paint.
Step 9
Wear it on your Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride!
