I wanted to make a statement necklace, but I didn't have much time and material at home to make one. So I decided to use some paperclips and a roll of tape. This is the result, and I think it is pretty cool!
I wanted to make a statement necklace, but I didn't have much time and material at home to make one. So I decided to use some paperclips and a roll of tape. This is the result, and I think it is pretty cool!
Material: - Paperclips - Tape (any colour you like) - Metal rings - Scissors
Cut a piece of tape and wrap it around a paperclip. I wraped it about 5 times aroud the paperclip.
This is how it should look.
Take a metal ring and attach it to one side of the paperclip.
Attach another paperclip to the metal ring.
Make a triangle.
Attach two triangles to each other to create a diamond shape.
Expand till you have a hexagon.
Make it bigger by attaching triangles.
Continue...
Add straps.
Attach fringes to it.
The result: your selfmade statement necklace! It is lovely to wear with a blouse or a simple shirt.
