Description

In this tutorial I show you how to create truly treasure ATCs for your friends, with a steampunk touch and starburst look.

Instructions

  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqi3TuQEiNE Cover your ATCs with white gesso and dry. Create background interest using stamps and embossing powder, do it in a distressed way (the stamping must NOT be perfect)

  2. Prepare all the embellishments: - cut some sequins waste - cut some words using dies - cover clay pieces with white gesso - cover metallic pieces with clear gesso

  3. Build your composition and glue it, trying not to leave any residual glue, otherwise the paint won't stay. If accidentally you have glue somewhere, cover it with gesso.

  4. Once everything is dry, spray your Starburst and dry. Repeat until you are pleased with the results, leaving some darker areas near the embellishments. Highlight with metallic wax.
