I had a comfortable sweater that unfortunately carried a stain (bisontix) that I couldn't get out. So instead of ruining the sweater further with chemical cleaners, I decided to just obscure the stain. (It's the top left butterfly in the picture) I cut out butterfly shapes from paper in the sizes I wanted, traced them around on the sweater with a fabric pen and then colored them in with a mixture of black acrylic paint and textile medium. Some gold details finished it off nicely.
