Sorry I'm not good at explaining but hope my pictures help you imagine how i made this pencil case :D

You will need

Fabric Notions: Thread , Scissors, Pins, Sewing Machine Zipper (Optional)the length of zipper depends on the length of fabric

Sorry I'm not good at explaining but hope my pictures help you imagine how i made this pencil case :D

Instructions

1. 

   Cut a rectangular piece of fabric like this

2. 

   Place a zipper on one edge like the figure below and hand-stitch.

3. 

   Fold in half and hand-stitch on the other edge like figure below

4. 

   Cut 2 other long bands then fold like figure below. The length of 2 bands should be as long as that of the case.

5. 

   Use the 2 folded bands to cover the 2 edges which you hand-stitched the zipper. This time, use sewing machine :D

6. 

   and the other edge...

7. 

   inside-out

8. 

   and unzip halfway

9. 

   sew and sewwwww the 2 endings of it (sorry i'm not gud at explaining -___-)

10. 

    Pull like this to form a box-like shape. The length of the red line is actually the height of your case. Mine is 5cm :D:D:D

11. 

    Once you got it, just sewwwwww!~

12. 

    inside out and HERE IT IS, YOUR FINAL PIECE :)
