Do you have ugly speakers that you just can't stand to look at anymore? Well I have a cheap and easy solution for you. I bought these speakers at Goodwill for $1.50 a piece, I didn't like that they were an ugly brown color and didn't match my stereo so, I decided to spice them up. I bought contact paper (self-stick shelf liner) from my local dollar store and made my speakers look 100x better in less than 10 minutes. Now they are pretty and unique. You don't have to buy your contact paper at the dollar store either, you will have more of a variety of designs by shopping at Walmart, Fred Meyer, Lowes or Ace Hardware, really any hardware store or super store will have contact paper.

Take old ugly speakers, remove all stickers, and wipe down with a clean dry cloth.
Measure and cut contact paper to the size of your speakers, leaving at least 1/2" on each end.
Peel the backing off of the contact paper just at the edge.
Line up and smooth on contact paper while peeling off the backing
Smooth over once again making sure there are no bubbles and trim edges.
You are done.
