Sparkle Up Your Phone Case With A Little Glitter
A little glitter never hurt

I have been using my clear silicone iPhone case for ages now and it is getting old, yellowish and badly scratched. I have been looking around to buy a new phone case and nothing seemed to have caught my eye. And then something clicked I went to the Chatuchak Weekend Market in Bangkok last Sunday and saw an inexpensive clear plastic case selling for 80 Baht! I bought it straightaway and decided to sparkle it up with some glitter. A little glitter will never hurt anyone, right? =)

You Will Need (8 things)
- Some Washi Tape
- Sponge brush / Paint Brush
- Mod Podge
- Some Glitter
- A piece of Craft Paper
- A clear plastic Phone Case
- Scissors
- Some non-stick Baking Paper
Steps (5 steps, 15 minutes)
-
1
Gather up all the materials that you need.
Cut and trim the craft paper to the size of the phone case.
-
2
Cut out a small piece (about 5 cm by 5cm) of baking paper and cover it with washi tape.
Fold the baking sheet and washi tape into half and cut out half a heart shape.
-
3
Gently lift up the washi tape from the baking sheet and paste it into position on the clear case.
Apply a layer of Mod Podge inside the heart cutout.
-
4
Generously pour the glitter over the heart cutout, making sure that the glitter covers the whole heart. I did this in a plastic box so that the glitter will not scatter all over my working area.

Wait for the Mod Podge and glitter to dry and gently remove the washi tape from the clear case.
Apply a layer of Mod Podge to the glitter heart. Let it dry and repeat to apply a second layer of Mod Podge to ensure that the glitter will not fall out.
Clear up the some bits of glitter and Mod Podge on the case. I did this with some rubbing alcohol and a piece of paper towel.
