  • How to create a face painting. Sparkle Fish - Step 1
    Step 1

I have applied Foundation (usually I would use a pan cake for better coverage) and a light dusting of loose powder

  • How to create a face painting. Sparkle Fish - Step 2
    Step 2

Dip your sponge in clean water, wring out, you want the sponge damn, NOT DRIPPING WET.
Yellow first, forehead, bridge of nose and under eyes. Clean sponge, pick up green temple area, blend into yellow
    (Clean Sponge)
Pick up Turquoise, blend into temple and cover cheeks and blend into yellow under eyes

ok, this is kind of funny and a contortionist thing if you are doing it to yourself.
Start with Pink, hold the piece of fishnet up on your forehead, with your loaded medium filbert brush, dab the pink on to your forehead

    Step 10

Fins- use liner brush- Royal blue and white. Line eye lids(black), points in inner corner and underneath eyes

  • How to create a face painting. Sparkle Fish - Step 11
    Step 11

Glitter, mist face with ben nye final seal, or you can mist face with water (very light mist) and apply glitter in what ever colors you want. I use the tip of my finger or a small paint brush.
At this time, apply eyelashes, eyeliner, mascara and rhinestones. I did not do the eyelashes or rhinestones for this tutorial, it was about 10 last night when I did this and I didnt not want to waste the products just to wash them off. I will glue my rhinestones on with white school glue a lot of times. It does not smell icky like eyelash glue does. Do NOT use white school glue for eyelashes or anywhere near eye!!!!!!!!!(Eyeliner kills my eyes when I first put it on)

  • How to create a face painting. Sparkle Fish - Step 12
    Step 12

It has been 2 years since I actually wore this face paint design out into the streets. A lot has changed in my life (Health issues, growing into an adult..FINALLY). I am still the same person as before, even though I look older (and chunkier)... (ouch)
Have fun, change up the colors, try products like Mehron Silver powder (amazing stuff),Kryolan UV Dayglow Aquacolors. Life is what we make of it, the only rule(s) of thumb, love, laugh, dance and paint your world what ever colors and what ever designs your want!!!
Please contact me if you have any questions.....

it was really easy to do, who would have thought a laundry bag would have played a part in it!
