Spaghetti puttanesca with anchovies, olives, sun dried tomatoes and basil!

I'm still trying to cook my way through the pasta alphabet and this week's request was Spaghetti Puttanesca from Tom.

You Will Need (11 things)

  • 2 Garlic Cloves
  • 50 g tinned Anchovy Fillets in oil
  • 1 tsp Chilli Flakes
  • 50 g Sun Dried Tomatoes
  • 50 g Black Olives
  • 200 g Dried wholewheat Spaghetti
  • Fresh Basil
  • Parmesan Cheese
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Salt
  • Olive Oil

Steps (5 steps, 15 minutes)

    Before you begin, bring a pan of water to the boil with a little salt and cook the spaghetti for roughly 10 minutes. Drain and place to one side.

    Chop the garlic and fry with a little olive oil in a frying pan.

    Slice the anchovy fillets and add to the frying pan with a little sprinkle of garlic flakes.

    Slice the olives and sun dried tomatoes and add to the frying pan.

    Mix in the cooked spaghetti.

    Serve with a sprinkling of fresh basil, parmesan and freshly ground black pepper.
