Spaghetti Alle Vongole

A Classic Italian dish that is super easy to make and it is ready in 15 minutes!

This is one of my favorite pasta dishes. I hardly ever order it at a restaurant just because it takes no effort to make at home. By the time the pasta is cooked, the vongole is ready and you just have to combine it all.

You Will Need (11 things)

  • 500 g Spaghetti vongole
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic , minced
  • 14 Cherry Tomatoes , cut in half
  • ½ Bunch of Parsley , chopped
  • 250 ml White Wine
  • 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 260 Grams of Spaghetti
  • Chili Flakes , to taste
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Juice of 1 Lemon

Steps (4 steps, 15 minutes)

    Rinse the vongole under cold water for a few minutes. Discard of any that are open. Cook the pasta as instructed on the package.

    Add the olive oil to a large pan with a lid. Over medium heat, add the garlic & tomatoes. Cook for 2 min. Then add the vongole & white wine.

    Cover with a lid & let it cook till the vongole start to open. About 4 min. Discard of any that haven't opened. Turn the heat off.

    Add the drained pasta to the pan with the vongole. Add salt, pepper, chili flakes, lemon juice & parsley. Stir until everything is combined. Serve and enjoy!
