Easter is almost here! So I decided to try to sew an Easter bunny out of a pair of socks. I was inspired by the tutorial of Bine Brändle in the book "Aufgepeppt & umgestylt". She's always very nice ideas for DIY stuff. I didn't do it exactly like she did, so it's kind of a "mixed" tutorial ;) but I love my bunny! EASTER CAN COME :) btw: I really used my ugliest socks for this, and look how cute the bunny turned out, yay!

First you have to turn your socks to the left side. Then cut it the same way as you can see it on the picture.
Use your sewing machine to sew all the parts together. Watch out that you don't sew the parts that should stay open for filling the body.
After that, fill all the parts with stuffing.
That's how it looks after filling the parts. It looks really macabre, doesn't it? :P
Then I decided, before sewing all the parts together, I'll stitch the mouth and put a button as nose. Like this, you can leave the threads inside and you don't have to think about them any more. Of course you don't have to use a button as nose, take whatever you want!
Sew all the parts together with needle and thread. I also already closed the body, so it was easier to fix the head.
Fix the head, also with needle and thread, on top of the body.
Stick some eyes and add some beard hair if you want to. Tadaaaa, your sweet, fluffy Easter bunny is ready to be hugged!
