I've been trying out some delicious chutneys from Chazwinkle's and discovered that there's far more to chutney than a dollop on the side of the plate! It makes a great ingredient in a host of dishes.
Remove the skin from the mackerel and flake it coarsely into a small mixing bowl
Add the creamed horseradish and chutney and mash well together with a fork. For a smoother, more paté like finish, you could use a food processor.
Make into sandwiches or serve with toast or crudités
