Instructions

1. 

   SLIP / ADJUSTABLE KNOT To make a slip knot, hold the tail end of the yarn in your left hand.

2. 

   Wind the yarn around your index finger, from front to back, three times. You should have three loops on your finger.

3. *Now, holding all the yarn still in your left hand, pick up the middle loop on your index finder and place it over the top of the loop closest to your nail. Leave it there, don’t slip them off yet! Repeat from * once more.

4. On the third round pull the middle loop directly up and let all the other loops slide off your finger. At the same time, pull on both the yarn and tail to make the slip knot.

5. 

   Pop this onto your needle; tail to the back. This is your first stitch!
