I'm a fan of scarves. I love them fluffy. I love them soft. I love them short. I love them long. I love them Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall. There is hardly an outfit that doesn't look that much better with the addition of a scarf. Here is one that, depending on the type of yarn you use, ie: cotton, wool, bamboo, can be worn all year round. It's super easy, super sexy and super simple :)

With worsted weight yarn & 6mm hook, Ch 4. Work 2dc in first chain. *Ch 3, turn. Work 2dc at base of chain (cluster made). Repeat from * until desired length. Fasten off. Weave in loose ends. (Sample has a total of 50 repeats)
With Dk weight yarn & 4mm hook: Attach yarn to top of beginning Ch-4. 1sc in same st. *Ch 6. Skip next cluster (which is pointing in the opposite direction) and 1sc in top of Ch-3 of next cluster. Repeat from * along one side of scarf, ending with 1sc in last cluster.
**Ch 3. (1dc, ch 3, 1dc) in second dc of cluster (end of scarf). Continue along unworked side of scarf as established in Step 2, working sc in bottom of ch-3. Repeat from ** in end of scarf. Join last ch-3 to first sc made. Fasten off. Weave in loose ends.
