You Will Need (7 things)
- Food Color Or Paint
- Tacky Glue
- Jar Or Vase
- Scissors
- Ribbon
- 4 Coffee Filters
- 1 Wooden Skewers
Steps (7 steps, 20 minutes)
-
1
First, you want to gather all the supplies together that you will be using. (I forgot to add scissors in the picture)Also, I just show food color here but you can also use water paint! Any color(s) you'd like. I actually used water paint for the red and food color for the pink flowers.
Then you want to paint or dye each coffee filter and let it dry. (about 4-5 filters)

2
Next, take your dried filter and fold it in half once.
-
3
Then fold it in half again. Silly me took the picture of the filter the opposite way, but it's all the same.
-
4
Now fold it two more times so it looks like the picture. (You can fold it as many or as little times as you want, more petals or less)
Press on it and cut, I show a pointed shape flower by the dotted outline, you can do a round shape (like my flower is) or experiment and cut differently! =)

You should have something that looks similar to this.
This filter is half folded..the black circle shows where a dot of tacky glue goes and press firmly to the other side.
-
6
Repeat steps 2-5 to make smaller flowers (cut more off each time) then you can glue each flower inside of each other.
Tacky glue the flower to a skewer.
You can paint the skewer green as well to add more of a flower touch.

Add to a jar, vase or empty spray bottle.
And Yay!! You just made your first coffee filter flower!!!
