I wrote up this super simple pattern as a beginner lesson I will be using in a two-hour crash course knitting lesson that I will be teaching at Baltimore's Bronycon this July.
Cast on 20 stitches using the long-tailed cast on.
Knit 1 stitch, Purl 1 stitch, repeat across your row.
Repeat step 2 until you have 18 inches of yarn left. Scarf should measure around 60"/5ft at this time)
Bind off all stitches in the Knit 1, Purl 1 pattern.
Pull left over yarn through the final hole to knot off. Weave in beginning and ending threads into project.
