Simple thing to stash your bling.

About
This is a surprisingly easy ring holder that I made out of a hat box that I received from a friend. It cost me about 2 dollars because I already had the box and fabric. Get a foam floater from the dollar store and hot glue sticks. I loved the box and since I don’t really wear hats I decided to use it. You can use any box of any shape that you would like. I love that I can find my rings easily. This would make a great gift.

You Will Need (4 things)
- 1 water noodle Foam
- 1 Hat Box
- 1 Hot Glue Gun
- 10 Hot Glue Gun Sticks
Steps (12 steps, 40 minutes)
-
1
Collect your supplies and plug in your glue gun.
-
2
Cut your foam floaty. I Cut a large pc first and then cut it into four long strips.
-
3
Depending on how many rows you would like in your holder you can make the foam larger or smaller. Mine are a little uneven but no worrries they wil be covered with fabric.
-
4
Start to place foam into your hat box. As you can see this peice is a little to big but that a good thing. You want the foam to fit into the container really tight.
-
5
Keep cutting and squishing foam in the box.
-
6
Grab some scraps of fabric and choose a color. I decided to go with a shimmery fabric to match the box and my bling.
-
7
Start covering your foam with fabric. I used a hot glue gun. Make sure the fabric is pulled tight when you wrap it around the foam.
-
8
Add hot glue to the perimiter of the box as you go, just dont add glue in between the rows.
-
9
I glued the bottom of the hat box and pressed the fabric covered foam pc's as I went to squish them in really tight.
-
10
Keep going and smooshing the stripes together. Remember now to glue the sides of the foam pc's only the bottom.
-
11
Push your rings into the spaces between the rows you have created.
