About
A cheap and simple way to make a 2x2ft personalized wall decoration!
I had this whole scrapbooking phase, and by the time I was out of it, I was already in the posession of about 2400 sheets of cardstock scrapbooking paper that truly, I didn't want. So I came up with a way to make a cute wall decoration using this paper instead of studying for my geometry final. Have fun!

Step 1
First, I put four sheets of scrapbooking paper down to create my 2x2 foot base. I laid it down in a pattern where I had two sheets of one colored sheets opposite of each other and then two sheets of pattern. I then taped the back of the sheets together. Make sure it's taped solidly, otherwise, it'll poof up after hanging up for too long.

Step 4
This is the hard part - the letters! Unfortunently, I was too lazy to take a picture of this stage, but it's pretty simple. I first made 3 dashes on my last sheet of paper, 4 inches away from each other on both sides. I then connected the lines to make 9 squares, exactly the same size.
-
Step 5
But still, after making the squares, I picked my favorite nine-lettered phrase, "The Way I Am". You can pick your own phrase, or word, perhaps something you'd like to display on your wall, perhaps something like "Loving You" or "BFFS 4 LYFE". Whatever floats your boat. I then wrote the letters to fit the 4x4inch squares. They don't need to fit exactly, since it'd probably look very unnatural with letters that connect exactly. As shown in the picture above, the letters don't always touch.

Step 6
Now that you wrote your letters on your sheet, it's time to cut them out! After cutting them, now glue them onto your top-center sheet. After this, it should look like the main image.
It's now time to hang it up! I actually just put some double sided tape on the back, and taped down the edges to my wall, and it's stuck for the last few monthes. If you want a more permanent feel, you can always frame it and hang it up. Do whatever you'd like - just have fun!
