Simple Granola

I've been trying to eat healthier and when I came across an article about granola in my boyfriend's workout magazine I knew I had to make my own. This is my take on a simple but yummy granola mix. Enjoy!

You Will Need (10 things)

  • 1 cup Dried Fruit
  • 3 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats (or oatmeal)
  • 1 cup Apple Juice
  • 3 tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 cup Chopped Nuts
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Steps (5 steps, 60 minutes)

    preheat your oven to 325 and gather all your ingredients

    Put oats on a baking sheet that has been lined with foil or sprayed wtih cooking spray. Cook for 20 minutes.

    While oats are baking mix everything expect the chocolate,nuts and fruit , into a measuring cup. Then once the oats have baked for 20 minutes carefully pour the mixture over the oats, toss the oats and proceed cooking for another 20 minutes

    Take the oats out of the oven and let cool.

    Finally pout remaining ingrediants into a resealable container along with the cool oats. Put the lid on and shake the container to mix, and enjoy!
