About

I love cat eyes, but not every day is cat eye day. Sometimes one has to take it down a notch.
I usually wear this kind of make up for the university, paired with a soft lip color or, in my bolder days a plum lipstick.
Check it out :)

You Will Need (4 things)

  • Concealer
  • Black Liquid Eyeliner
  • Black Eye Liner
  • Mascara

Steps (6 steps, 10 minutes)

  1. 1

Things I used and their brands:

    eye concealer (Yes! One mini)
    Black liquid liner (sephora)
Black mascara (I got this in a drugstore in Venezuela, but the name is faded out, so I can't remember the brand! Sorry!)
    Eyeliner (Claire's)

  2. 2

Start with a fresh eye. No eye shadow or anything. You don't want to make it too over the top.
Sorry for my sleepy look, it was like 7 am

  3. 3

    Apply some concealer.
I heard somewhere that it's better if, on the bottom part, you apply it in strokes and not dots.
I usually double my concealer as an eye primer, and it works to hide the dark circles too.

  4. 4

    Apply eyeliner.
Here, it starts to get tricky.
I started using liquid eyeliner about a year ago, and it was the best thing ever! I immediately feel in love with it.
I'm still trying to learn how to make a perfect line, and my eyes never end up the same. I always prefer how the left one looks.

For this look, I start on the outer edge of the eye and go slowly towards the inner part, as I want my line to be a little thicker towards the end and smaller at the beginning.
If you want, you can flick out the end a little and do a mini cat eye.
Don't forget that YOU are gonna be wearing this, so YOU have to feel happy about it!

  5. 5

    Apply some eyeliner and mascara

I'm usually an all out eye kinda girl. I love going panda with my eye make up.
However, the days that I want to tone it down, like today, I just put a little eye liner on my top water line. I didn't want to over do it by also putting it on the bottom water line.
Oh, and I don't really like the mascara in the bottom lashes.
If it rocks your boat, go ahead.

  6. 6

This is my final eye look, something simple and that it doesn't take more than 10 minutes (I go really slow with the liquid liner)

Afterwards you can continue with you foundation routine and all that.

    Good luck!
And remember to remove your make up and unleash all your natural beauty before going to bed!
