This is light and flavorful. I ate it by itself, but it would accompany dishes well because it is nice and simple. I used 2 1/4 cup Bisquick, I cup milk, 1/2 cup apples, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, and about 1 1/2 tsp cream cheese. This is so easy and quick to make.

You Will Need (5 things)
- 2 ¼ cup Bisquick
- 1 ½ tsp Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Milk
- ½ cup Diced Apple
- ½ cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Steps (4 steps, 20 minutes)

Preheat oven to 450. Mix Bisquick and milk together. I used a cup making my biscuits lighter. Use less milk for heavier biscuits.

Peel, core, and dice apples. I used a 1/2 cup. This isn't a very high density of apples. It gives you a couple pieces here and there and gives it a nice apple-y hint. If you want apples connected by the occasional biscuit, use a cup :-)

Add cheddar and apples to batter. Add cream cheese in small pieces at a time. If you use brick cream cheese, cut up little pieces. I had a tub of cream cheese, so I just measured out about a 1/4 teaspoon at a time and broke of pieces. Mix well.

You can do drop biscuits where you drop spoonfuls of mixture on an ungreased cookie sheet. I used a pie dish instead. Just make sure you grease the pie dish first. I forgot but it isn't too bad :-P Bake for 8 - 10 minutes. Drop biscuits should be golden brown. The biscuit pie should be brown and a knife inserted in the center should come out clean (aside from cream cheese). Mine cooked for 10 minutes. It could have probably gone a little longer because it was only a little brown on top. Just keep an eye on it. Then cool and eat.
