Perfect for a Burns Day treat.

You must use real butter to get the best, crumbliest shortbread.

You Will Need (4 things)

  • 4 oz Plain Flour
  • 2 oz Semolina
  • 2 oz Sugar
  • 4 oz Butter

Steps (9 steps, 45 minutes)

    Heat oven 140 degrees.

    Add sugar, flour & semolina to a bowl.

    Cut butter into small cubes.

  3. 3

    Add to dry ingredients.

    Rub in until all butter is incorporated.

  4. 4

    Pour breadcrumb mixture into tin.

  5. 5

    Press down to form a dough.

  6. 6

    Prick with a fork & cut into slices.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle with some sugar.

  8. 8

    Bake for 30-35 mins until pale.

    Remove & cool.

    Serve.
