Shortbread Sour
Celebrate Burns Night with a Scottish twist on the Whisky Sour!

You Will Need (8 things)
- 30 ml J&B Rare Whisky
- 30 ml Shortbread Vodka or Amaretto
- 20 ml Simple Syrup
- 2 drop Angostura Bitters
- Egg
- Lemon
- Raspberry for garnish
- Ice
Steps (9 steps, 10 minutes)

Crush a stick of shortbread into a fine crumb and place in a bowl.

Fill a second bowl with water. Dip the rim of your cocktail glass in water and then dip in the shortbread, coating the rim in crumbs.

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the whisky.

Add the Shortbread Vodka or Amaretto and simple syrup to sweeten to your taste.
Shortbread Vodka:
Crush the shortbread into fine crumbs and add a teaspoon into a small bottle. Fill with 120ml vodka, shake well and leave to infuse for at least 24 hours. -

Squeeze in a couple of drops of bitters.

Crack in the white from an egg.

Squeeze in the juice from half a lemon.

Shake hard and strain into the cocktail glass, filled with ice.

Garnish with a raspberry and serve.
