i saw this on threadbanger and decided to give it a go...i think it came out pretty well for my first time shirring
measure the width of your bust and the length that you would like the dress to be. cut out two rectangles with these measurements. remember that each piece must be able to go around your bust comfortably.
connect both pieces on one end only and hem both edges.
using elastic thread, around 20 rows of shirring on one end...this is the time consuming part.
when you are finished the shirring, connect the the two sides to form the dress. pretty easy right?
