Use Beadalon Bead Stringing Wire and the Tying Station to make an updated, grown up style Friendship Bracelet!
Use Beadalon Bead Stringing Wire and the Tying Station to make an updated, grown up style Friendship Bracelet!
Cut one piece of Beadalon Bead Stringing Wire 14 inches long and one piece of Wire about 5 1/2 feet long.
String one size 2 Crimp Tube on the short Wire. Make a loop big enough to fit over your button clasp and crimp it in place.
Snip the short end and cover the crimp with a crimp cover.
Secure the loop to the top of the Acrylic Tying Station.
String the 8 beads onto the beading wire. Secure the Wire to the bottom of the Acrylic Tying Station.
Take the long wire and center it underneath the secured down wire. Tie an overhand knot to secure the wire.
Tie a knot by taking the right side of the long wire over the short wire and under your left wire. Take the left wire and feed it under the short wire and up through the loop on the right hand side.
Repeat Step 7 [12 times] then push up the first bead.
Tie another 12 knots under your bead by following step 7 again. Push up another bead.
Continue tying knots and pushing up beads until you reach the end of your bracelet, ending with 12 knots. (You may have to add another bead, or adjust your knot count to fit your wrist.)
String a size 3 crimp tube onto the end of the short wire and feed the long wires through as well. Crimp the crimp tube, cut off the 2 long wires, but leave the short wire.
Attach the button by stringing a size 2 crimp tube and the button. Go back through the crimp tube and crimp.
Cover crimp tubes with crimp covers.
Tip: 12 knots between each bead makes a 7” bracelet. 14 knots between each bead makes an 8.5” bracelet.
