Ok, so transferring a pattern to a card is very simple.
You will need;
? your card
? your pattern
? a sewing needle
? something soft to put underneath your card
? Paper clips

You Will Need (5 things)
- 1 Pattern
- 2 Paper Clip
- 1 Tea Towel
- 1 Sewing Needle
- 1 Card
Steps (5 steps, 600 minutes)

Ok so first if you don't have a card, you can easily make one from a piece card (you can use paper but card is better for when you're sewing your pattern)
Fold your A4 piece of card into 3 sections. I have cut off some of the bottom because I though it looked a little too long -

Then you take your pattern and put it onto the middle section of the card and secure it with the paper clips

Then you place your 'something soft' (Ive just used a folded tea towel, but you can use thick felt or anything else you think would work) underneath your card and use your needle to make the holes where the pattern says.
I just use a normal sewing needle but my neighbor uses one of those knife kits with all the different blades? she takes out the blades and replaces them with a needle. That way she has a handle (it does make it much easier) BUT for those who don't have a knife kit thing and don't want to buy one, I got a great tip to put the needle into a cork and to use that as a handle. All I need now is the cork -

When you think you've finished, hold your card up to the light to make sure you haven't missed any holes. If you have just poke them.
And all you need to do now is do your pattern! easy-peasy
(Don't stress if you think you wont be able to do the pattern. When you get them from the site the come with very detailed instructions) -

I thought I would add just one more thing.
When you sew your pattern, DO NOT TIE KNOTS AT THE BACK WITH THE THREAD. It's not quite the same as sewing. All you do instead is tape the piece of thread down with some tape (As shown). Also, the reason for the 3 sections instead of the normal 2 is so you can fold the extra one over the back of the sewing and stick it down with double sided tape. That way no one will ever know
