I had been looking around for a place to put all my sewing notions rather than jumbled into a jar...and I couldn't find anything I liked - That is until I saw this fabulous suitcase in a thrift store for $1.50! I washed and dried it out and used some fabric that I already had. I actually just covered it like you would cover a present and then I used a staple gun to fasten the fabric onto the case. I covered the staples with additional fabric, but one could use anything to dress up an old case like this, buttons, ribbon, paper, stickers, etc.! I also made a coordinating pin cushion with a cup I found for 10 cents (that idea came from this website!). I'm actually not that into pink and green...okay, yes I am.
