Sewing on the sequins can be time consuming, but the result is worth it!
Cut out a heart(or any shape you want)out of a piece of printer paper. This will be your template.
Using your template, cut out two identical shapes from your main felt pieces.
Using your template again, cut out a piece of tulle, making sure that it at least covers your entire shape. You can always cut off extra tulle later.
Now, muster up some patience and sew the sequins onto ONE felt shape, until it is covered.
After you're finished sewing on the sequins, take your identical felt piece and hot glue it to the back of your sequined piece. This will act as a reinforcement for your stitches.
Mark where you want for your heart to go on your plastic headband. Put hot glue down the side of the headband and stick the heart on top.
Cut out a piece of scrap felt.
Using you hot glue gun, stick the felt on the underside of the heart shape. This will act as more reinforcement, and will also cover up any glue "hairs" that are hanging out.
