You'll need: a trench coat, needle and matching thread and gold sequins. I took off the sequins from a fabric scrap. Of course, a box of sequins in a color of your choice is perfectly fine.
Decorate the trench coat starting from lapels. Sew sequins randomly next to each-other.
Lapels are made with two layers of fabric. Pierce just one layer with needle so the paths of thread will be invisible.
Sew fewer sequins as you proceed towards the inside of the lapel, so the coat won't be too flashy.
Decorate the shoulders.
Look images 5 and 6 to see how to sew sequins in a row.
Sew sequins in vertical rows, different from each-other in lenght. Be careful and avoid piercing the lining.
