These earrings were a bit of a challenge for me.
I've been working for 3 evenings on them, but the result may be seen:)

You Will Need (8 things)

  • Small Chain
  • Small Rings
  • empty Fish Hook Earrings
  • Needle And Thread to 'sew' the bows on the earrings!
  • very small Ribbon to make bows
  • small (iron) Sticks to put pearls on
  • Pearl(s)
  • small Pliers

Steps (14 steps, 300 minutes)

  1. 1

Because I didn't know the right words for some of the supplies...

  2. 2

Let's start with the 'triangle' of your earrings. You'll need 6 (or 10 when you want to put 2 on the inside of the triangles like I did) of these small sticks. Curl one end from every stick with your pliers.

  3. 3

Pull small pearls/beads all EXCEPT TWO of the sticks, but make sure you leave some space to 'curl' the ends with the pliers.

  4. 4

On those two you didn't use yet you're going to make next pattern:

    P-S-R-S-P-P-S-R-S-P-P-S-R-S-P

    P stands for pearl
    S for sequin
and R for ring (put 2 sequins on every ring and close them with your pliers)

  5. 5

Now this is what you have...

  6. 6

Curl the ends with your pliers...

  7. 7

...but before you 'close' them entirely, hook them in each other.

  8. 8

Hook the first in the last to create a triangle.

  9. 9

Now, this is a step you'll have to repeat like I don't know, maybe a hundred times... :) Open the ring, put two sequins on it, and close it again.

  10. 10

Hook a small ring in each 'curl' at the ends of the lowest stick.

  11. 11

Repeat step 9 and make chains of these rings with sequins.
    Make them like this:

    o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o

'o' stands for a small ring or link from an old necklace/chain
'-' stands for a ring with two sequins on it.

I'm doing it this way (and not ------) because it makes the sequins stand out well.

  12. 12

Make 5 chains: the one in the middle should be the longest, those on the sides should be the shortest.

Now, if you want you can put two sticks with pearls on the inside of the triangle (I did this because I thought the triangle looked so 'empty').

  13. 13

Make two small bows and 'sew' it on a small ring. Now, you connect the fishhook earring to the part with the pearls and sequins by just opening the ring, putting the two parts on it, and closing the ring again. (I also putted another (red) pearl above the bow, because I think it's beautiful;)

  14. 14

    Voila, you're ready to go:)
