One small problem with lampwork beads is that they often have larger holes than most beads. It can make for a clunky design. I solved that in this design by using a string of seed beads to string the large hole bead. I then added a second strand of chain to the necklace to add some additional substance.

Here are two variations on this design using these supplies...
For the clear hollow lampwork bead with blue dots, I chose large blue seed beads, and strung two strands.
I then strung them through the bead (this took a little bit of negotiating to get things where I wanted)...
...and then finished the strands with crimp tubes and a silver heart shaped toggle clasp.
...
For the other necklace, I strung one strand of green seed beads for the lampwork bead, and plan to string another strand with large blue beads to pick up the blue core of the lampwork bead. This is still a work in progress, but you get the picture
