You Will Need (4 things)

- Wick
- Old Candles or candle wax
- Heat Gun
Steps (10 steps, 15 minutes)
-
1
Collect some shells from your local beach. I used oyster shells to make my candles a little larger.
-
2
This is a great project for using up half-burned tea light candles. Alternatively you can use fresh wax.
-
3
Remove the wicks from a couple of tea light candles and place to one side.
-
4
Cut the remaining candles and wax into small chunks.
-
5
Fill a shell with wax.
-
6
Gently heat the wax with a heat gun until it begins to liquify.
-
7
The wax will completely melt within a minute or so.
-
8
Place the wick in the middle of the candle.
-
9
Leave to cool so that the wax resets.
-
10
They're ready to use and you can keep refilling them with old wax as they burn down.
