An ocean inspired cupcake! I love how the cupcake itself is reminiscent of sand, while the icing can be seen as ocean water.

SKIP TO THE LAST STEP FOR A VIDEO :D Cupcake: Using a cupcake base mold, make a cupcake base by pushing in a ball of fimo mint clay. Shave off any excess clay with an xacto knife.
Using a small ball of tan clay, make the top of the cupcake. Be careful to keep it centered over the top of the cupcake base. Add in an eyepin, and texture using a toothbrush.
Shade the sides of the cupcake with gold and brown chalk pastel.
Mix some liquid clay and mint clay together to create the cupcake icing. Frost your cupcake using this icing.
Using a needle, add micromarbles to the top of the cupcake. I thought they look better spread out, so I used the needle to have better control over where I placed them.
Starfish: Using your red-orange clay, make 5 very tiny balls. Roll out each ball to be teardrop shaped. using your needle, arrange these to form a star, with the points facing outwards. Blend them together at the center, using a needle and/or nail art dotting tool to reshape the star if needed.
Add your starfish to the top of the cupcake.
Pop out your cupcake, and bake according to clay packaging directions.
After your piece is baked, glaze with water-based varathane polyurethane.
